All auction proceeds will be donated to Shanghai Smiles Foundation for vocational skills training programs for school-age youths in China’s poor areas.
The first auction winner is Anita Ching from Hong Kong, China. With a high bid of RMB 6870, she has won Supreme Guest-Experiencing Package of Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, to be the General Manager of this five-star hotel for a day.
In the interview of Grand Hotels Media, Henk, General Manager of Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, mentioned that charity is a social responsibility for hotels. The Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai is now in collaboration with EARTH Water. The profits obtained in China will be donated into Chinese clean drinking water projects through Splash/NGO.
