MC Akash

Fanatic, driven and never spotted without a mic. Akash Hanoeman, also known as MC Akash, controls the mic at several events and knows just the way to make the crowd go wild. His perfect timing and powerful lyrics truly completes a DJ set. Working his unique way to the dance scene, Akash is determined to reach many more goals, and while accomplishing this you should definitely prepare yourself to be blown away by his talent!

Growing up in a family of musicians, Akash has always been in touch with various styles of live music. What started out with simply collecting tapes with all kinds of music (such as R&B, Hiphop, Reggae and Pop music), leaded to fully enjoying powerful live gigs his friends performed at. Akash has always been surrounded by true music fanatics and spent many hours in the studio – while friends were recording. By taking this time to absorb this environment, his passion grew even stronger when seeing MC’s performing on stage at house events. In 2008 he finally decided to take his own lead down the path of being on stage.

After hearing MC Gee and his wonderful talent at a massive house event at Now&Wow (Rotterdam), the Dutch DJ Leroy Styles gave him the opportunity to perform at his own party ‘Looks’. It didn’t take very long before Akash received great feedback and after just a short time, he performed with great national deejays and international heroes – such as Dennis Ferrer and Dj Gregory (FR).
